Why it exists
Converting a recording should not require an account, a confusing editor, or an unexplained upload. AudibleLite keeps the flow direct: choose a file, select an optional quality setting, convert, and download.
How it works
The conversion engine is delivered as part of this static website and runs inside your browser. Selected audio is written to temporary browser memory, processed there, and made available through a temporary download link. AudibleLite does not operate an upload service for your audio.
What it supports
The first release provides twelve specific directions between MP3, OGG Vorbis, WAV PCM, M4A with AAC output, and FLAC. Each converter page explains the output encoding and its real quality trade-offs.
Limits worth knowing
Browser memory, device speed, and file length affect conversion time. Converting between lossy codecs can reduce quality, and changing an MP3 to WAV or FLAC cannot bring back detail removed when the MP3 was created.
